Use these gloves rimarily for working with cable used to anchor floating docks inplace. These gloves are holding up much better than anything else we have been using. The only problem is they leak more than I would like. In warmer water it would not be a problem but 46 degree water coming in when you open or close your hands gets to be very cold. Would go with the 5.5 if I could deal with the loss of dexterity. I might seem seal the interior seems to see if i can stem the water transfer. All in all much better than neoprene with holes in it.
