I use this on a solid lead weight belt. Takes the weight off the hips and allows some to be transfered to shoulders. No need to re adjust if the belt slacks a little due to depth. Use weight keepers or stainless screws through belt to hold weights in place. Then two more stainless bolts & washers to lock front straps in position so they don't slip off belt. Throw your weights on like a jacket or let them hang while kitting up. A cheaper alternative to expensive shot weight harness systems.
On a recent dive all eyes were on my weight set up.
