This pole spear is too flimsy for much of the fish I shoot out in the ocean. I have switched to the new rugged and more dependable CRIST Spear.

Awesome!
I use this spear gun every summer for walleye and northern pike and it never misses. The compact carrying case makes transport a snap. The beauty of the hand spear is the ability to reload with minimal effort and you can easily vary the power of the release. I prefer this one over the carbine any day.
