Note: Additional students may share use of some of the 1st students materials. Each additional student will need some personal learning materials that can be purchased for $26.85 + Tax.
Part2 Pool Training- Pre-registration required space is limited to 10 participants each session!
After completing your home study, it will be off to the pool. Here you will learn to use SCUBA equipment and develop your new diving skills. Our experienced instructors will carefully guide you through this experience where you will safely be able to experience the silence and weightlessness of the underwater environment.
Personal Gear Required for Pool:
Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Waterproof Watch and Lead Weights are required. Your lead weight should equal 10% of your individual body weight. If you weigh 180 pounds you should have a minimum of 18 pounds of lead weight.
SCUBA Equipment provided as part of tuition:
BCD, Regulator system, Tank are provided for the pool skills but must be purchased or rented for the Open Water Certification Dives.

Part3 Certification Dives- Pre-registration required space is limited!
Here is where the fun intensifies, when you actually conduct the open water certification dives. This requires a weekend trip to Florida, where you will conduct four exhilarating dives under the direct guidance and supervision of a PADI Scuba Instructor. Your certification trip departs Friday evening and includes visits on Saturday and Sunday to two different fun and exciting locations. We conduct your certification dives at controlled, safe dive sites in Florida to guarantee you the most fun, and barring any physical difficulties you might have you will return Sunday night a PADI certified diver. As boats are not required, you don't need to worry about weather, sea sickness, or any other environmental issue keeping you from earning your certification.
Scuba Equipment Required for Certification Dives:
BCD, Regulator system, Tank and Dive Suit must be purchased or rented for the Open Water Dives.

*Already have a certification trip of your own planned, or want help setting one up to a destination of your choice? We can refer you to PADI dive centers anywhere in the world to complete your certification, just ask! Note: There is a $50 referral fee.
