Transmitter Features:
The Lynx (tank or location) transmitter uses ultrasonic waves to communicate with any Lynx computer it has been registered with, within the specified range of 330 feet/100 meters. In addition to its exceptional range, it also addresses all major issues of existing devices. There is no "pairing" of computer and transmitter required; all the diver needs to do is enter the transmitter ID into the Lynx computer. This eliminates the guessing game of "will my computer 'see' my transmitter?" many divers experience. Since the transmitter uses ultrasonic rather than radiofrequency waves, its signal will never be affected by electromagnetic interference from HID dive lights or camera strobes. It uses the same user-changeable batteries as the Lynx computer, with both disposable and rechargeable battery options available.
