Mares Flexa 5-4-3mm She Dives WetsuitThe Flexa suits are the result of an effort meant to obtain the widest variety of combination of steamer. No detail has been overlooked: front silver zipper with customized closure, zipper pull with integrated whistle, and the exclusive Back Protection System, an additional layer of neoprene on the inside of the rear panel of the suit. Two advantages result from this: a higher thermal insulation (total thickness in the area is 10mm) and a cushioning effect in the area where the tank rests against the diver’s back for more comfort and support.

- THERMO PLUSH:
This internal fabric dedicated to the inside panel of suits is soft, smooth, durable and developed to increase free movement.
Ideal to guarantee extreme mobility, its refined finish prevents the suit from retaining water with the double benefit of keeping you warmer and making the suit dry faster.
- BACK PROTECTION SYSTEM:
The Back Protection System takes inspiration from our BC knowledge. We thought to add a wide additional neoprene layer in the lumbar region. Benefits are multiple, specifically by adding extra warmth in a zone that is usually cold sensitive.
Extra protection for better comfort when diving and also less empty spaces for disturbing water sacks.
- CUSTOM CLOSURE:
This neck closure system allows for the easy customization of neck fittings.
Beginning this year, Mares provides a complete new style of velcro tag molded in rubber, to minimize snagging of the plush or neoprene.
Back and front zips with skin-on-skin zipper seals for a superior water barrier.
- SUPRATEX KNEE PAD:
Knee protection made of anti-scratch polyurethane not only looks sharp, but is engineered for high strength and protection without compromising flexibility.
The linear design moves in line with your body while still guarding this high wear area.

With the new Flexa line for women, the Trilastic concept reaches new heights in terms of quality and comfort.
Using varying neoprene thicknesses for different areas of the body, Mares has come out on top.
This is at the -core- of the Flexa SheDives models: thick material with high heat insulation at the core of the body, and thinner neoprene at the extremities for high mobility are symbolized by the numbers in the models- names: Flexa 8.6.5, Flexa 5.4.3, and Flexa 3.2.2.
The cold water model, Flexa 8.6.5, for example has highly elastic 8 mm ultrastretch neoprene at the upper body, while 6mm ultrastretch at the arms and legs ensure unrestricted mobility.
And 5mm seals are more than enough. For Flexa, Mares has come up with even more: all women-s models feature an anatomical, preformed cut.
Never before has a women-s suit been this comfortable and insulating!
And there is more to discover: The abbreviation BPS (back protection system) refers to a neoprene layer integrated on the back that provides additional insulation and padding for the tank.
Cold water doesn-t stand a chance against the suit-s Thermo Plush lining and front zipper underlaid with smooth neoprene for sealing.
The custom collar closure allows for a customized adjustment of the neck seal because the new Velcro flap is tightly embedded in the rubber and as a result of this special construction only sticks where it is supposed to stick: at the neck!
The Flexa models also offer a solution to mechanical stress for those parts that take the most strain: arm and leg seals are sewn on elliptically to lessen traction stress.
A highly resilient Supratex layer provides protection at the knees.
Apart from Trilastic hoods, a shorty (Flexa Core) with attached hood and a vest (Flexa Vest) are available for modular extension of the Flexa models.
