I've done roughly 30 or so dives with this BC in tropical climates. The bungee around the bladder keeps the excess from becoming cumbersome. My only 'complaint' is that there's only 2 dump valves which makes venting at depth awkward at times.

I've been using the Excursion since the Spring. It is very streamlined in the water and easy to get out of and don on the surface. The inflator hose took a little getting used to because it's small, unlike my old ScubaPro hose. It now feels "just right." It does not have pockets on the front, which is fine with me, but others may need to consider this, if pocket are important to them. There is a large folding pocket that comes down when you unzip it but I don't ever use it. The good number of D Rings are well-built and work really well. I like how my Spinner knife attached to the grommits. Bungee cords keep the bladder tucked away when now inflated. I highly recommend this back-inflate BC for the advanced diver who doesn't feel the need for venturing into the backpack/wing market.
