I agree that this computer is great in all aspects except one. When used a lot it fails, water leakes in the case, The plateing on the male disconnect came off.The trip to get it fixed is usually 2 weeks or greater. I am not a pro diver, but I go a lot. 2 or 3 trips a week that go all day. Thats 9 dive in a week. Take people on private dive trips around Florida. I would not purchase a Pro Plus 2 again. It has been out of service more than any other computer I have. I have several other brands. If you don't dive much and want to impress the folks get one. If you only go a coupal times a year thats the one for you. My experience is that they can't stand up with lots of use. I am still waiting for it to come back.

After the first use of this computer I was impressed. Very easy to use and READ for us who's arms are getting shorter! I was very impressed with the down load capability after the dive. It really allows you to study what you need to work on for the next time out. I only wish I'd gotten the QD and compass model. If you are torn between the two, get the upgrade. But, that was my short sightedness. This is a very fine product that allows you to adjust the parameters to your dive style.
