The PADI Deep Diver Specialist course consists of 1 class/pool session, and 4 dives.

What you’ll learn:

• Deep dive planning, and advanced gas and time management skills.
• Deep diving equipment requirements and use.
• Deep diving emergency planning and procedures.
• Advanced buoyancy control techniques and deep diving techniques.
• Environmental and Physical hazards of Deep diving.

 You will then put this knowledge to the test on 4 Deep certification dives ranging from 80 – 130ft.

Prerequisites:

• A PADI Advanced Diver or equivalent certification from another agency.
• Minimum 15 years of age.
• Minimum 15 logged Dives.
• Ability to hover in a vertical orientation without use of hands or fins for 1 minute.
• It is suggested all Deep Diver students be certified Nitrox Specialty Divers.
