This case is not waterproof for swimming/submerging. This is noted on Pelican's website for the micro case series of products (I wish I knew this before purchasing). We had this product recommended to us at a diving shop for a waterproof snorkeling case, but it doesn't keep stuff dry when submerged. It's also fairly bulky for it's internal volume.
