Exactly what I wanted! |

I had tried a vest BCD before, but wearing a weight belt under it was too painful when shore-diving. This BCD was perfect. Not only did I feel more comfortable in the water with the back-inflating vest, but having integrated weights has made my dive life SOOO much more pleasant! And for the price, it is WORTH IT!

What a well kept secret! Absolute comfort, fit, and quality. This is the first time I've used as back inflation and I can say it is much more comforable than the vest. You won't go wrong with this set up.

Pros: Fits and dives great
Cons: Could use more drain holes in the aircell
Review: The independent harness system fits firmly around your body so that you don’t experience any shifting, sagging or squeezing. Standard is a 60lb ballistic material bladder that’s perfect for single tank diving. I loved diving with this bcd. At depth it fit comfortably without any shifting making balance easy. With the air on my back it put me in the correct diver profile without any effort. I did find that because it offers more lift than most bcd’s, that at the surface I could put too much air in the bladder. That tended to float me forward (face down), however if I vented some air out it dropped me back into a more natural position. This is a well thought out bcd that dives great for both new or advance divers.

Great bang for the buck |

I'm a new diver, I was diving with an ancient Scubapro jacket which was a bit too big, giving me a plague of problems. I ordered this BC just in time to take my PADI advanced class. What a difference...it fits nicely and comfortably, back inflation, integrated weight system, nice pocket. My boyancy was right on in each dive I've taken. It's a keeper! Did I mention the price was right? I couldn't touch another comprable BC for another hundred dollars. With that savings, I bought a nice set of booties and fins.
