High performance at a great value |

Pros: Performance, Value, Incredible Warranty
Cons: None
Review: If you’re a diver more concerned with name brands than with performance and value, then the Sea Elite TEK X may not be the regulator for you. But, if you want a truly solid, high performance regulator with a great warranty, great features, and at a price that can’t be beat, then look no further. In the past I’ve always used high-end Scubapro regulators, particularly for my deep technical diving, so I had my doubts when I was asked to evaluate the Sea Elite TEK X. However, I immediately recognized and was impressed that the TEK X has several high end features like a balanced diaphragm 1st stage with low pressure swivel for less jaw fatigue and easier hose routing, and a neutrally buoyant pneumatically balanced 2nd stage with breathing effort adjustment knobs. After having used the TEK X on several dives of varying depths from 30 feet to over 130 feet and in varying conditions from a leisurely calm warm reef dive to one of the most extreme drift dives I’ve done, I can honestly say the TEK X never failed to impress me with its performance. The TEK X performed as well as regulators I’ve used in the past that are over twice the cost of the TEK X. Considering its price, the amazing warranty offered with the TEK X, and its ability to perform, I don’t know of a better regulator value currently on the market.

I got this regulator as a gift and dove it on my trip to Belize! Best breathing regulator I've used yet.
