The SportDiver compact 35 mm automatic dive camera is rated to 164 ft. The Lexan housing is small enough to fit into most BC pockets. The compact inner camera, can be removed from its housing and used for excellent vacation pictures on land. The SportDiver is the perfect dive companion as well as the perfect camera for snorkeling or other water sport use. Its also fully expandable with all SeaLife� accessories; macro kit, external flash and wide angle lens. The SportDiver camera is 5.6 / 125th. and uses regular 35mm film / ASA200 recommended. I bought this camera as an alterantive to disposable underwater cameras and because it had a flash. I read the manual and followed all the instructions as best I could. My pictures were terrible. In West Palm Beach at 62 ft deep it was hard to distinguish what the photo was at all. Maybe I was too far away for the flash and it is darker at 60 ft than I realize. Visibility was OK, not great, and maybe that contributed as well. It gets one more chance this summer in St Thomas before I return it or throw it away.
