Taken this one out twice now. The things you end up using a knife for when out with a group! Plenty sharp to gut some fish, then used to cut some beef ribs. I know, right?
Obviously for the price this is not a large nor high end knife. I like the fact the little placard on the knife handle reminds you what it is, "divers knife".
Retention by the scabbard is quite good, and while a bit cheesy (just push down on the button, the plastic bends and releases the knife) it is effective, and you know when the knife is locked in. Plastic used seems to be pretty good, so I think the locking "design" would hold up to lots of use.
You aren't going to be using this to saw through anything though, the handle is too small and there is very little in the way of keeping your hand from sliding onto the cutting edges, so it's best for light duty, or as a line cutter, pulling instead of pushing. I bought it for line cutting.
