I have been using this product for five years on our annual trip to the east coast during August, when there are always stinging jellies in the water. I've never had the courage to deliberatly touch a jelly after applying this lotion so I guess I can't provide direct testimonial about it's efficacy. But the only people who've ever been stung during our swims are the ones who didn't put on the lotion, or didn't put it on the part of their body that got stung.
