Join us on our exciting shark tooth hunt! These dives will take place in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Venice Beach, Florida. Venice is located south of Sarasota, Florida and offers one of the largest known deposits of fossilized shark teeth along the Florida coastline.

 

Brent Boehmer will organize and lead this hunt! Brent is a very experienced dive instructor and has extensive experience with the Venice “Shark Tooth Hunt”. He will give you the advice needed to find and identify these fossilized teeth.

 

Due to the shallow depths (18-25 feet) you can achieve a tremendous amount of bottom times on each dive; giving you plenty of time to develop the skills you need to find these fossilized teeth.
