Aqua Lung Legend LX Supreme Regulator

The Legend LX Supreme makes up part of Aqua Lung's flagship line of regulators and shares the same specs and high performance of the Legend LUX with the exception of the LUX's pink gold finish. The Legend is particularly suited to cold water diving because of its oversized lip shield that helps keep the diver's lips warm. The Legend LX Supreme is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and may qualify for Aqua Lung's free parts for life program.*

First Stage

The Legend LX Supreme's first stage is equipped with an Auto Closure Device (ACD) that automatically closes as the first stage is removed from the cylinder. This stops water from entering the inlet thus preventing corrosion and keeping internal lubrication from washing out. The first stage is also equipped with an environmental dry seal system that keeps contaminants out of the main spring chamber and prevents it from freezing when diving in extremely cold conditions. It is safe to use with higher oxygen percentages and the unique over balanced diaphragm makes for superior breathing performance. The Legend LX Supreme's first stage is supplied with 2 HP ports and 4 MP ports arranged at an angle for the best possible hose routing. Legend LX Supreme's first stage is available in DIN or yoke configurations and is EAN 40 compatible from new.

Second Stage

The Legend LX Supreme's feature rich, pneumatically balanced second stage boasts of smooth performance and makes for effortless breathing in all conditions. The LX Supreme is further enhanced by the Master Breathing System (MBS) feature. While most regulators have a venturi switch and breathing resistance adjustment controls, The Legend second stage MBS lets divers control these two functions with just one knob. Also, the supplied 29" lightweight Aqua Flex hose is extremely flexible and virtually eliminates any tugging on the second stage and jaw fatigue is kept at bay with the Comfo-Bite™ mouthpiece. Additionally, the Legend LX Supreme's second stage comes equipped with an oversized lip shield for more comfortable use in cold water dives as well as Aqua Lung's patented heat exchanger system to keep things from icing up. Ergonomic exhaust tees that keep the bubbles out of your face and contribute to reduced effort during exhalation are also built in.
