The Garmin Descent G1 has a sapphire crystal with a durable fiber-reinforced polymer bezel and case. The G1 is a quick-fit watch band compatible (22mm) and comes standard with a silicone wrist band. The instrument measures (L x W x D) 1.79 x 1.79 x 0.6" (45.5 x 45.5 x 15.2mm) and weighs 2.15 oz (61g). The included wrist band range is 5" to 8.82" (128mm to 373mm) and with the optional extra-long silicone band it has a range of 5" to 14.7" (128mm 373mm). The G1 has a custom two-window designed monochrome, sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display that measures 0.9 x 0.9" (23 x 23mm) with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels. Battery life is up to 25 hours in dive mode, up to 21 days in smartwatch mode, up to 48 days in battery saver watch mode, up to 26 hours in GPS mode, up to 56 hours in maximum battery GPS mode, and up to 27 days in expedition GPS activity mode. The G1 has a memory/history of 32MB.
