The Descent Mk2i dive computer adds SubWave sonar technology for integrated tank pressure monitoring on up to 5 tanks when paired with the Descent T1 transmitter (sold separately, see SKU: GRMDT1TP), making it ideal for instructors or group dives.

SubWave Sonar Transmit data - such as remaining air time, air consumption rate, and more - for you and other divers within a range of up to 33' (10m). Wrist-Based Heart Rate: Optical heart rate (2) technology gauges activity intensity as well as heart rate variability to calculate your stress level; it also tracks underwater without a heart rate strap. Pulse Ox Sensor: For altitude acclimation, sleep monitoring, or between apnea/apnea hunt activities on the surface, a Pulse Ox (3) sensor uses light beams at your wrist to gauge how well your body is absorbing oxygen.

The Garmin Descent Mk2i titanium carbon gray DLC with black band has a domed sapphire crystal, a sunlight-visible, transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels. The watch bezel is a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated titanium with a fiber-reinforced polymer with a metal rear cover case. 

The Descent Mk2i comes with a titanium and silicone wrist band, measures 2 x 2 x 0.7" (52 x 52 x 17.8mm), weighs 3.5 oz (99.6g) with the silicone band and 5.65 oz (160.3g) with the titanium band. The battery life in smartwatch mode is up to 16 days, in battery saver watch mode up to 50 days, GPS mode up to 48 hours, GPS + music mode up to 15 hours, max battery GPS mode up to 96 hours, dive mode up to 80 hours, dive mode with Descent T1 up to 32 hours and expedition GPS activity mode up to 35 days. Included with the Descent Mk2i are a black extra-long adjustment strap, charging/data cable, and documentation.
