Did you know that Divers Supply offers a wide variety of specialty SCUBA courses?! Whether you're looking to hone your skills in a particular area or just experience something new in the world of diving, our specialty courses will help increase your comfort and confidence underwater.
Specialty courses are a great way to experience a new realm of diving while under the supervision of a dive professional. During your course, your instructor will provide detailed dive briefings and plenty of advice to help you succeed in your selected specialty. Your instructor will also help you select any additional gear required to successfully conduct your specialty dives.
What to expect from your specialty course:
Your specialty course will start with at-home academics completed at your convenience. Many of the course academics are provided in an online eLearning format, making it easy to access the materials at any time. After completing your at-home academics, you will meet with your instructor for a classroom session to review and fine-tune the knowledge you have acquired at home. Finally, you will conduct your in-water training under the guidance and supervision of your instructor—where you will put all your new knowledge to use underwater!
Upon completion of each specialty course, you will receive a newly earned certification card!

Technical Diving Courses
Take your underwater adventures to the next level with a Technical Diving certification. Divers Supply is proud to offer several courses through TDI, the leader in technical diving since 1994 and the largest technical certification agency in the world. Whether you're looking to make longer, deeper dives or explore new environments, our technical diving courses are all designed to help you become a more proficient diver.
What to expect from your technical diving course:
Your course will start with at-home academics, completed at your own pace. Most of the course academics are completed through the TDI eLearning portal, where you can access both written materials and supplemental videos that will provide the foundation for your technical training. After completing your academics, you will meet with your instructor for a classroom session to review your academics and cover special gear requirements. Many of our courses also include a pool session, during which your instructor will help you master new gear configurations and advanced diving skills. Finally, you will conduct your checkout dives with your instructor, where you will put your new knowledge and skills to practical use.
Upon completion of your technical course, you will have greatly expanded your knowledge of dive planning, increased your underwater awareness, and developed important skills to safely execute dives beyond the normal sport diving limits.
