ScubaPro Equalizer w/AIR 2 (V Gen)

The Scubapro Equalizer is a front-adjustable BCD that brings together all the best features you could ever want in a recreational diving BCD. Its high-performance wraparound bladder is made of 420 denier nylon so it's durable and lightweight and extremely comfortable. Stability is excellent thanks to the full-sized backpack and tank strap system. The flat-buckle quick-release integrated weight system loads easy and ditches even easier, and the valve system represents the ultimate in reliability and performance. Add big hook-and-loop-closure pockets and four stainless-steel D-rings for carrying accessories, plus two-octopus pockets for storing a backup regulator, and you have a BCD that can't be beat.

420 denier nylon construction ensures a long and active dive life. Wraparound air bladder provides a secure, comfortable ride at depth and on the surface. New self-locking elbow ring on main left-shoulder valve prevents accidental loosening. Full size backpack delivers maximum stability. Quick-release integrated weight pouches ditch easily and secure with low-profile squeeze-style side-release buckles. Each weight pocket holds up to 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) of hard block or soft pouch lead weights. Stainless steel grommets allow for convenient knife attachment.

The BCD has multiple adjustments for a perfect fit, including torso adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable sternum and waist straps all equipped with squeeze-style" side release buckles for ease of donning and doffing. The waist strap is also equipped with a comfortable cummerbund. There is a right shoulder and right lower rear over-pressure relief/pull-dump valves, both equipped with pull cords for ease of trimming buoyancy. The Equalizer BCD Jacket provides a lift capacity of 22.5 lbs. (10.2 kg), in size X-small, 27 lbs. (12.2 kg) in small, 29.2 lbs. (13.2 kg), in medium, 33.7 lbs. (15.4 kg) in large, and 38.2 lbs. (17.3 kg) in X-Large. The BCD weighs form 6.2 lbs. to 6.6 lbs. (2.8 to 3.0 kg) depending on size. BCD comes with an owner's manual.

The Equalizer BCD comes equipped with Scubapro's AIR2 V Gen Breathable Inflator. When you took dive lessons you learned to perform specific skills to make you safe and comfortable underwater and at the surface. One of those skills was buoyancy control. Once you start diving for fun you use your buoyancy control device constantly throughout the dive. Your octopus or alternate air source device on the other hand is never used unless there is an emergency out-of-air situation. Reacting properly in an out-of-air situation can make the difference between an eventful dive and a tragedy. If your alternate air source and your BCD inflator device are one and the same, you will always know where to find it in an emergency. AIR2 V Gen is more than a simple inflator. Its components design takes advantage from the best regulator technology to guarantee maximum efficiency and reliability. As an inflator AIR2 V Gen provides perfect pressure control for a great buoyancy management. Ergonomic shape makes it easy-to-handle in any circumstances and it can be emptied by simply pressing the exhaust button.

AIR2's air balanced power inflator provides smooth and reliable inflation at all tank pressures. Single hose configuration eliminates the need for a separate alternate air source. Innovative dive/pre-dive switch enables you to detune the unit when not in use, eliminating free flows. Self-flushing mechanism requires just one push on the purge to clear away all dirt. The regulator mechanism is a simple, yet reliable classic downstream demand valve. Air 2 is equipped with an ergonomic mouthpiece with large bit tabs, soft second-stage cover and one button purge function. The regulator's pre-tuned system is housed in a precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer impact resistant design that weighs 6.7 oz. (190 g). Nitrox compatible up to 40% out of the box. The demand valve is chrome plated brass with a stainless-steel spring and a silicone rubber diaphragm and exhaust valve. The Air 2 comes with a 3/8" threaded 27.56" (70 cm) high-flow low-pressure hose and owner's manual. CE certified (EN250A -- greater than 10°C/50°F warm water test controls) as a second stage regulator.
