Aqua Lung Bc Soul I3

Diving in style is a thing and with the Soul, it can be your thing too. This luxurious, women's-specific BCD is a feature filled masterpiece that makes use of Aqua Lung's Wrapture Harness System. This along with a rolled neoprene collar and a shorter torso make for a snug, comfy, streamlined fit. The Soul i3 incorporates the highly intuitive i3 Control System that ditches the traditional inflator hose for more convenient, lever actuated inflation and deflation. This makes for easy trimming as well as significantly lowers drag. The Soul i3 features integrated weights that are kept in place with the SureLock II system and you can rest assured that your tank stays put with the GripLock Tank Band. Design and Streamlining

The Soul i3's unique hybrid design brings together an ADV jacket and back inflation to allow the diver to rest comfortably on the surface while helping to lower drag at depth. To further cut down on air wasting drag, the Soul i3 makes use of a stowed, easily accessed oral inflator tube, flat valves and features an advanced air cell with low profile lobes. The advanced air cell is also designed to fit more comfortably at the hips because of its shorter torso length. To add even more streamlining as well as gear protection, a scooped pocket on the left lobe of the BCD is built in to keep your octopus from dangling while still leaving it clearly visible and accessible.

Wrapture Harness System (patent pending)

This feature sees patented swivel shoulder buckles and a proprietary ultra-thin back plate working together to provide unparalleled comfort and stability. The Wrapture system was designed to stop the BCD from riding up when floating on the surface and to keep the tank close to the diver's center of gravity, effectively transferring the weight of the tank to the hips. This results to a being able to stand straight with a perfectly vertical tank behind you.

i3 Control System (patented)

The i3 system was designed for easy buoyancy control. This intuitive inflator does away with the inflator hose on traditional BCDs and replaces it with a simple lever that you pull up to inflate and push down to open all your dump vales and deflate. This makes trimming faster and more precise and lets you enjoy more of your time at depth.

SureLock II Mechanical Weight Release System (patented)

The Soul i3 features integrated weights and keeps them locked in with the SureLock II. This system is the epitome of simplicity and its weight pouches just slide and click securely into place. SureLock II also adds an extra layer of safety to your dive by allowing you to quickly ditch your weights in an emergency with a single pull.

GripLock Tank Band

The GripLock Tank Band takes the rocket science out of attaching your cylinder to your BCD. It features easy to use, pre determined macro settings that eliminates the guess work from mounting commonly sized tanks. The GripLock system also features micro adjustment options that let you fine tune the band's grip for an even more secure fit. A safety feature is also in place to keep your fingers from getting caught in the buckle when locking in the tank.

Functionality

The Soul i3 showcases a number of smart features that ultimately contribute to the safety and enjoyment of every dive. It features a right shoulder pull dump, an adjustable chest strap that can be raised or lowered and ample storage in the form of two large, zippered utility pockets on either side and an extra, open pocket. Also provided are easy access knife attachment points that work with many Aqua Lung knives as well as five stainless steel D-rings and two plastic D-ring for easy attachment of accessories.
