Tips & Tricks for Setup, Use & Care

Dialing in the CAM-LOK Tank Mount

• Set the initial strap length while the nylon webbing is dry. When clamping onto a cylinder, pull the lever over until it snaps flat. The stainless ratchet system applies tension automatically, so you will never have to re-wet or stretch tank straps on boat decks.

Loading the EZ-Lok Weight Pockets

• Distribute your ballast evenly between the front main release pockets and the rear trim weight pockets mounted on the tank band. Loading 2–4 lbs in the rear trim pockets keeps your feet up and maintains an effortless horizontal trim posture.

Inflation Control & Bladder Venting

• Because back-inflation bladders push air behind your torso, vent air during ascents by lifting the corrugated inflator hose above your shoulder or using the lower rear pull-dump valve while in a prone swimming position.

Post-Dive Rinsing & Storage

• Flush Internal Bladder: Depress the manual dump button on the Ai Inflator and fill the inner bladder roughly one-third full with fresh hose water via the mouthpiece. Shake the BCD to rinse salt crystals out of the interior, then drain through the lower pull dump.

• Drying: Partially inflate the bladder and hang on a heavy-duty BCD hanger in the shade. The exterior shell will dry rapidly—ensure internal moisture is fully drained before long-term storage.
