Sizing, Donning & Care

Fin Pocket Sizing

  • Account for 5mm Neoprene: Adding a 5mm neoprene sock increases your overall foot volume significantly. If buying full-foot fins to wear with 5mm socks, you typically need to size up 1 to 2 full shoe sizes in the fin foot pocket compared to diving barefoot.

Donning & Wetsuit Overlap

  • Turn Cuff Down: Fold the high ankle cuff halfway down before sliding your foot in to reduce strain on the top seam. Once your heel is seated, pull the cuff back up your ankle.

  • Wetsuit Leg Positioning: Always place the ankle leg of your wetsuit over the top cuff of the dive sock. Positioned this way, water draining down your wetsuit leg flows over the outside of the sock rather than dumping directly inside it.

Walking & Wear Prevention

While the sole features an anti-slip grip print, neoprene socks are not rigid hard-sole boots. Avoid walking long distances across sharp gravel, asphalt, or jagged coral, which can slice through neoprene.

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Freshwater Flush: Wash inside and out with cool fresh water after the dive to remove trapped sweat, salt crystals, and sand.

  • Drying: Turn the socks inside out first to dry the inner lining completely, then flip them right side out. Dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
