Tips & Tricks for Sizing, Safety & Care

Sizing & Seal Verification

• Measure Your Face: Measure the distance from the bridge of your nose (between your eyes) to the tip of your chin. If the distance is less than 4.7 inches (12 cm), select Small/Medium; if greater, select Large/XL.

• Check the Seal: Put the mask on without tightening the straps excessively. Breathe in through your nose—if the skirt pulls firmly against your face with no air leaks at the jaw or temples, you have a correct seal. 

• Facial Hair Notice: Heavy beards or stubble along the chin and cheeks will break the silicone seal, allowing small amounts of water to leak inside.

Proper Usage & Safety

• Surface Use Only: Do not dive beneath the surface or attempt equalization. Full-face masks maintain a large air volume that cannot be equalized during deep descents.

• Pacing Your Breathing: Maintain slow, steady, and relaxed breathing. If you feel short of breath, remove the mask immediately and rest at the surface.

Sand Protection & Cleaning

• Keep Sand Clear: Avoid dropping the mask or dry-top snorkel tube into beach sand. Sand grains can jam the dry-top float ball valve or scratch the polycarbonate lens.

• Freshwater Flush: Soak in fresh, cool water post-use to clear salt away from the internal silicone valves and chin drain membrane.

• Drying & Storage: Air-dry flat in the shade. Store in the mesh carry bag to prevent scratching the front lens.
