Combining the low-volume, ultra-clear dual-lens Rombo mask with a dry-top snorkel scaled for easy breathing, this set delivers maximum field of view, crisp color clarity, and complete water exclusion at the surface.  

The Cressi Rombo & Mini Dry Combo offers young snorkelers a premium mask and snorkel package with a low-volume frameless mask, tempered-glass lens, comfortable silicone skirt, and an advanced Mini Dry snorkel with splash protection and an easy-clearing purge valve.

The Cressi Rombo & Mini Dry Snorkel Combo is designed specifically for young snorkelers who want a comfortable, easy-to-use mask and snorkel set for exploring the underwater world. Combining the low-volume Rombo frameless mask with the highly effective Mini Dry snorkel, this combo delivers excellent visibility, reliable water protection, and a comfortable fit for children and youth. 

The Rombo mask features a lightweight frameless design with a single tempered-glass lens and a soft silicone skirt bonded directly to the lens. This construction reduces weight, lowers internal volume, improves visibility, and creates a comfortable watertight seal. 

The Mini Dry snorkel incorporates an anti-splash dry-top system with a special valve that seals the tube during submersion, greatly reducing water entry. A large purge valve and water collection chamber make clearing any remaining water quick and easy.

Tips & Tricks for Prep, Fitting & Maintenance

Mask Prep (Pre-Dive Scrub)

  • Remove Factory Film: Like all new masks, the Rombo carries a thin silicone manufacturing residue on the inner lens that will cause persistent fogging if not scrubbed off.

  • How to Clean: Apply a drop of mask prep (such as Sea Buff) to the dry inner lenses. Rub thoroughly with your thumb for 2 minutes per lens, then rinse with fresh water. Repeat twice before applying anti-fog spray for your first swim.

Snorkel Placement & Seal Testing

  • Keeper Height: Position the quick-release snorkel keeper on the left side of your mask strap, just above ear height. This holds the top dry valve perpendicular to surface swells for optimal airflow.

  • Fit Check: Place the mask against your face without using the strap and inhale gently through your nose. A correct fit will suction securely to your face without air leaks around the temples or upper lip.

Care & Clear-Silicone Preservation

  • Preventing Yellowing: Clear liquid silicone can absorb oils and discolor over time if exposed to direct UV light or stored near black rubber items (like fin foot pockets).

  • Rinse & Dry: Rinse both the mask and snorkel with cool, fresh water post-use to clear salt and sand from the dry-top float valve and bottom purge diaphragm. Store in a cool, shaded mesh bag.
