The Henderson Unisex 7/5mm Thermoprene Bibbed Hood is engineered to provide targeted thermal insulation and head protection for temperate-to-warm water scuba diving, snorkeling, and watersports.
Built with Henderson’s flexible Thermoprene® neoprene, this hood features a dual-thickness design—3mm on the head to trap vital core warmth and 2mm on the bib for maximum flexibility and comfortable movement.

Thermoprene is crafted from a high-quality neoprene and a low pill fabric. It has 75% more stretch than standard neoprene, so while it is not as flexible as Henderson's Thermoprene Pro or TherMAXX lines of products, it still boasts significant comfort characteristics. The 1801/2 stretch Thermoprene is noticeably easy to don, pulling over the head with less huff and puff than standard wetsuit hoods. Also, the fabric's exterior stands up extremely well to the wear with its pill/abrasion-resistant exterior laminate.
Hood has seams that are glued and sewn, which seals off stitched areas and drastically reduces water entry. A revolutionary new one-way flow vent purge valve, vents regulator exhaust from the hood while preventing cold water entry. This design is a Henderson exclusive and not available on any other bibbed hood. Each Henderson wetsuit accessory benefits from five decades of design experience. The Thermoprene cut allows for an optimal fit. The Henderson Thermoprene 7/5mm Bibbed Hood has a trim-able skin face seal, and anatomical fit. Hood is available in multiple sizes and is black in color.

Wide Generous Chest Bib: Designed with an extended, low-profile bib that tucks securely underneath your wetsuit collar, creating a tight seal that prevents cold-water flushing across your back and chest.
Flow-Through Venting System: Outfitted with an integrated air-release valve at the top of the hood that allows trapped regulator exhaust air to escape without letting cold water seep in.
Anatomical Face Seal: Trims comfortably around the cheeks, chin, and forehead to minimize water exchange while leaving ample space for a scuba mask skirt.
