The Science Behind SEAC’s Anti-Fog Technology
Fogged masks are caused by condensation forming tiny water droplets on the lens, which scatter light and obscure vision. SEAC’s Double Plasma AntiFog treatment addresses this problem at the source. By making the lens surface hydrophilic, moisture spreads into a thin, transparent layer instead of forming droplets. The result is a consistently clear vision, no matter the dive conditions.

Activating the AntiFog coating is simple. Before entering the water, immerse the mask in fresh water for a few minutes to fully wet the inner surface of the lenses. While submerged, gently rub the inner side with your fingertips to evenly activate the treatment. Rinse with clean water to remove any residue, and the mask is ready for your dive. For maximum performance or after long storage periods, repeat the process. Once activated, the treatment works independently — no extra sprays, gels, or repeated applications are needed.
