MARES PRO FLEX SNORKEL

Designed as a simple, minimalist snorkel with no dry top like the Rebel Dry, no drain valve like the Ergo Flex, and no splash guard like the Rebel Splash, the Mares Pro Flex is a sleek, lightweight, and flexible snorkel for apnoea divers or just a simple snorkel for watersports enthusiasts who prefer classic gear.

Simple design for undisturbed air flow
Nothing stands in the way of direct air flow inside the Pro Flex snorkel! No valves, no splash guard, no flexible corrugated tube like many other snorkels, such as the Mares Ergo or the Rebel Flex, a corrugated tube that relieves the neck muscles on longer snorkelling trips, but is not welcomed by advocates of minimalist snorkels.

This results in a smooth, unrestricted airflow and, in addition, creates a much quieter time snorkeling because it prevents the formation of noise or vibration during heavy breathing.

Simple and robust construction
Only two materials are used in this Mares snorkel, both very light, flexible, and unbreakable, but last but not least, it is insensitive to saltwater and robust. The mouthpiece is made of high-quality silicone, fits securely in the mouth, and with its large opening allows undisturbed breathing while snorkelling.

Relaxed snorkelling for experienced snorkellers
Not only the comfortable mouthpiece but also the low weight of the snorkels and the ergonomically curved shape promise relaxed snorkelling.

However, we would like to point out that this type of snorkel is rather suitable for experienced snorkellers, as the absence of a splash guard leads to increased water accumulation in the snorkel tube and thus to much more frequent purging, which, due to the absence of a purge valve, is somewhat more cumbersome than with a snorkel with a drain valve – this requires some practice and a better physical condition for longer snorkelling tours.
