The NeoSport 2.5mm Men's Front Zip Neoprene Vest (SKU: S125MV) is a lightweight, sleeveless thermal top engineered to provide core body insulation, wind protection, and complete upper-body mobility for warm-water sports and diving.
Built with 2.5mm soft, flexible foam neoprene, this vest functions exceptionally as a standalone top for surface watersports or as an added thermal layer worn beneath a full wetsuit during scuba dives.
Light and easy to pack, the Sport Vest is also durable, thanks to quality neoprene and flatlock seam construction
Smart layering can significantly improve warmth while diving, and this front zipper vest wears easily under or over a full suit or skin. The sleeveless cut leaves arms free for complete mobility and makes the Sport Vest a natural cross-over garment for paddle sports, water skiing and watercraft use. Soft and comfortable premium neoprene material construction.
Light and easy to pack, the Sport Vest is also durable, thanks to quality 2.5mm Nylon 2 neoprene rubber and flat-lock seam construction provide a smooth interior and exterior surface to ensure maximum comfort and durability. Vest has a heavy-duty #10 YKK front zipper closure with pull-tab leash. Anatomical cut for a comfortable fit, spot taped at stress points for durability and spandex trimmed arm, neck and waist openings for comfort. Internal key pocket for security and tear away sizing tags. Sports Vest is available in multiple sizes, colors and has a tear away size tag for easy ID.

It has little to none but it is usually not enough to cause major issues or help.
It would provide a little buoyancy but not nearly as much as a life jacket.
With the measurements give that falls into the large size in the Neosport 2.5mm Men Neoprene Vest although the waist would be a little big. You maybe able to go down a size do to the neoprene in the X-span suit are designed to stretch more

The Neosport 2.5mm Men Neoprene Vest is perfect for layering under your wetsuit. It gives me the extra warmth I need when diving the Florida springs. I also use my Neosport 2.5mm Men Neoprene Vest for my other water sports (kayaking and skiing) in the early Spring.
