The NeoSport 3mm Unisex Waterman Step-In Jacket (SKU: S636MF) is a heavy-duty thermal wetsuit top built specifically for commercial divers, rescue teams, spearfishing, and cold-water work operations.
Featuring a step-in beaver-tail design and a diagonal front zipper, this 5mm neoprene jacket can be worn as a standalone top in cool water or paired with a sleeveless Farmer John jumpsuit to double up core thermal protection.

We couldn’t think of a better name for our new 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm John and Jacket combinations.
From its diamond plate knee pads to the trident Waterman logo, this suit is all business.

Waterman" A name given to a person who works or spend his life on, in or around the water, NeoSport couldn't think of a better name for their new 3mm Jacket. With its Trident Waterman Logo, this suit is all business. Designed to be used and abused and the best part it's an incredible value, so replacing a jacket a few times a season will not eat the profits of long day in the water. Suit is made from soft and comfortable premium nylon-2 neoprene rubber with flat-locked sewn seams for strength and durability. The Jacket comes equipped with a front diagonal full-length, heavy-duty #10-YKK zipper closure for easy donning and doffing.
The wrists are equipped with seals to reduce water exchange for added warmth. All the suits edges are trimmed with Lycra further easing donning and doffing and adding strength and durability. When worn in conjunction with the Waterman" John (see SKU: NSP3WJ), the double layering of 6mm of neoprene rubber from the upper legs to the shoulders and torso will give you hours of warmth even in the coolest conditions. Suit is available in multiple sizes, is also available as a John & Jacket Combination (see SKU: NSP3W) and is black in color.
3mm Core Thermal Insulation: Constructed with 3mm premium foam neoprene to provide moderate thermal warmth, wind protection, and core insulation without sacrificing flexibility.
Step-In Beaver-Tail Cut: Features an extended crotch strap (beaver tail) and step-in silhouette that secures the jacket firmly around the torso, preventing the garment from riding up during active movement.
Diagonal Front Zipper: Outfitted with an off-center, heavy-duty corrosion-resistant YKK front zipper for fast, effortless self-donning and doffing while preventing zipper overlap when layered over undergarments.
Versatile Modular Layering: Pairs seamlessly with the NeoSport 3mm Waterman Farmer John (SKU: S636MB) to double core insulation, creating a combined 6mm of neoprene across the chest and torso.
Flatlock Seam Construction: Assembled with smooth, flatlock stitching that rests flush against bare skin to eliminate friction, hot spots, and pressure points during active paddling or swimming.
Abrasion-Resistant Outer Shell: Coated with a rugged exterior lining designed to resist scuffs, gear wear, and friction from buoyancy compensators (BCDs) and work harnesses.
Unisex Anatomical Fit: Patterned to deliver a secure, hydrodynamic fit for both men and women.
Internal Key Pocket: Features an integrated internal stash pocket to safely store small essentials during water sessions.

40 Year P.A.D.I. Member OWSI #6940! I say this is a very good suit. I am 5' 10.5 240 lbs and bought the XXL. Over all fit perfect. A little tight in belly area but only cause I have a little Extra there. I expect that to receed soon, hopefully. Got suit for Northwest Florida and also pool exercise program. Water temp is about 81°… suit is perfect for this temp and a little bit warm if you exert heavily, but unzipping a little at neck relieves that. Legs and arms have good snug fit. Underarms have just enough slack for good movement and are not uncomfortably tight in that area as some suits are. Zipper strong and excellent. Overall a very comfortable and well made suit. Cannot complain at this Excellent price. Its a good deal in my opinion. And I have tried it out. No complaints for now. I Should be able to get a lot more use out of it than what I paid for it!
