Very pleased with this purchase. It's capable of air, nitrox, and multi-gas and is super easy to set up and use. Took it on a dive trip to Key Largo over Labor Day weekend and it worked perfectly.

I bought this just before my open water certification open water dives as an open box special. This does everything I need it to do and will do more as I advance my certifications.
Under water in relatively low visibility (somewhat murky lake — approx. 15’ vis) it’s extremely easy to read without having the backlight lit up. It automatically tracks every dive as soon as you’re below 4 feet. It also automatically starts your 3 minute safety stop and the ascent alarm and the alarm to notify you your safety stop is over are both loud enough to hear and are easily discernible from each other.
I primarily bought the Mares computer because it integrates with the MySSI app. I uploaded all of my dives to the app and was amazed at all of the data it collects with zero effort. It just works. Once uploaded, I went in and added any information I wanted to like dive buddies, gear, weather, weighting, etc. but you don’t have to do that.
I would highly recommend this computer. At the open box price, it was literally the cheapest option out there other than buying used. Smoking deal from Divers Supply.
The only con for me was the olive color. Given the choice, I would’ve gone with the blue, but realistically, who cares? It’s a dive computer.

Great price! Even though it was an open-box purchase, it looks brand new, the battery is full, and all of the packaging and enclosed materials were included. Easy to use....I took it on a dive trip to Key Largo over Labor Day weekend and it worked perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.
