Rugged 210D Nylon Fabrication: Heavy-duty 210-denier nylon shell backed by high-frequency welded seams ensures airtightness and abrasion resistance against boat hulls and rocky surfaces.

Over-Pressure Valve (OPV) with Manual Dump: 42 mm} exhaust valve vents expanding air automatically as the SMB ascends from depth and includes a pull-knob cord for manual deflation at the surface.

Operational Tips & Pro Tricks

• LP Hose Inflation Technique: When inflating at safety stop depth with a low-pressure inflator hose, press the hose connection firmly against the metal stem while keeping the SMB held vertically above your head. Introduce short bursts of air—expanding gas will fill the buoy during its ascent.

• Proper Stowing & Deployment: Roll the SMB tightly toward the bottom D-ring, wrap the integrated bungee loop around the rolled cylinder, and clip a double-ended bolt snap through the stainless D-ring to keep it compact inside your BCD thigh pocket or clipped to a rear harness D-ring.

• Over-Pressure Valve Pre-Check: Test the pull cord on the lower OPV during your pre-dive gear check to ensure the spring valve seats smoothly and is free of salt crust or sand grains.

• Post-Dive Maintenance & Drying: Flush both the interior air chamber and external valve assembly with fresh water after every dive day. Fully inflate the SMB orally and hang it upside down in a well-ventilated shaded area to dry inside and out before rolling it up for long-term storage.
