The watch itself seems to work great, seems accurate. I've only been on two dives with it. I changed the settings to Imperial (feet, Fahrenheit) but it always reverts back to Metric. I've changed it three times and three times it immediately reverts back. For me, that's borderline 3 stars because it's clearly a defect.

I was looking for a replacement for my Cressi Leonard that had been on my console which flooded. I decided to look for a watch style computer and researched them. It is a great size, light on the wrist and doubles as a watch. I have a dive I bought which is pretty expensive and a nice looking piece but very heavy on teh wrist and thought I could ditch the weight on vacation and get a dive computer too. Have not used it yet, but would definitely recommend it.

This was the first computer I bought when I got back into diving. I like it a lot, and at the price point, it’s awesome. It’s pretty intuitive, keeps time well if you want to wear it as a watch, easy to read under water (in bright conditions), easy to understand, and isn’t so conservative that you’re turning dives earlier than you need to.

Cons include that the backlight is very dim, it can be tricky to find a battery replacement kit (that comes with a new o ring/back piece), and the ascent alarm is a little trigger happy for my liking. That said, you can turn that alarm off.

Overall it’s been a great computer and I still dive it as a backup to my Perdix. I probably logged 55 dives with this computer before the battery indicator came on the first time. I would recommend this to a new diver or occational recreational diver. Great little inexpensive computer.

You have to download the manual from www.Mares.com but it’s not difficult. <br>You can silence alarms, set to metric or imperial. I realize there are computers out there that can read air levels (assuming the transmitter is working and not picking up on another divers transmitter, because if it quits, the dive is over.) I didn't want a complicated device, I wanted an easy to read computer that I could rely on for deep dives, safety stops and no dive times so I wouldn't have to use a dive computer tip calculate all of that. This is nice and light, low profile, easy to read and you tube has shome great videos on navigating through the menu and screens. I'm pleased with my purchase ana plan to buy my daughter one.

I needed a diving computer to tell me how deep I was freediving. As a beginner, I was not willing to spend a huge amount. The watch is stylish and can be worn every day. The watch seems to be fairly accurate, however; it does have a 5 second sample rate so you have to stay at your maximum depth for just a little while. Compatible with the SSI dive log making it easy to keep track of everything in one app. Good back light for murky water. It has tons of features—working on those as I get further into my diving. Obtain instruction manual from Mares.com then it is simple to set the watch and dive computer. As a watch I like the calendar, dual time and daily alarm features. Somewhat bulky (11/16 thick) to wear just as a watch. As a dive computer it has all the features I need as a non-technical master diver with surface interval time and it has a replaceable CR2430 battery.

Computer works great. It is a very conservative computer so be prepared to be beeped at a lot, especially on deeper dives. It doesn't come with a user manual, you have to get it online which is a little irritating having to look it up everytime you want to change a setting. I’m OW certified, and so far only dive while on vacation. The resorts I stay at announced they would require all divers to use a computer. I figured it would be safer to have my own vs a rental. I purchased the Mares Park Pro EZ for the price.
I found it easy to use, and did everything that the resort dive team required. <br>I especially like the built in direct blue tooth connectivity. <br>I recommend the EZ for any occasional diver, looking for a computer wanting to make their dive experiences safer. The EZ has many features that are not in the basic specifications listed on the item description. <br>I first purchased an open box EZ a day later the price of a brand new EZ was lowered. I took advantage of Divers Supply exchange policy and saved a few dollars.

I bought this as a package deal, first stage, second stage which is the sea Elite covert, and a sea elite Scout octo. A few of the other guys that have $700 invested into their Regulators kind of scoffed at mine and ask why I bought those. I told them because parts are available at a good price, I got a good deal on them as I bought them as a package and on sale, and they are the same Regulators the dive shop uses for training regulators which tells me they can take a beating. I talked to a few experience divers and was told they're definitely not the best but they're sure as heck not the worst and for the price I paid I got a good deal and if I take care of them they should last me a long time. I use them on my for pool Dives, for Open Water training Dives, and 3 actual Dives in a quarry down to 60 feet.... I have not had any issues to me they've breathe very well but I do not have anything else to compare them to.

The funny thing is the guys that were scoffing at my $200 regulator package, there's $700 regulator package both of them failed in the pool the first time they use them. The instructor said something about they were free flowing way too easily and they should not free flow and just keep flowing. He's a great starter Rigs and I will give them to the wife once I get more into diving and decide to do more depth and Technical.... then I will upgrade but until then I love these things they work great.

Ive dove a set of these regs before. This purchase was to build a spare set on a good first stage, so I got this Octo and 2nd to complete it. The only negative I can point out is the hose could be a bit longer and the HOUSE BRAND doesnt share its data with anyone else so if i need adjustments I have to send them ALL the way back to DS to be matched. Overall a very good product, easy breathing, reliable and very cost efficient.

Highly recommend for any recreational diver like me. Breathes great and is very comfortable. These are balanced first and second stage regulators price shop you would pay almost 2 x. I got it off sale and paid the full price if you catch it on sale you will save some money. Also if you call and ask for a package like my buddy they will give you a better deal. We both dive them in the ocean to between 40-100ft and they work flawless.

Bought this regulator as part of a Sea Elite Scout BCD Package. I had it upgraded to cold water ready so the 1st stage was environmentally sealed. I have made several dives in the low 50 degree temps and as cold as 47 degrees in fresh water and have had no issues with free flows. The breathing resistance knob and venturi switch are nice added features. I've only been down to 64ft but this regulator breaths easy. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants a nice regulator and that is on a budget

I’ve only had 6 dives with it since getting it so can’t really talk about durability. I
Main reason was to have a pressure gauge that allows me to communicate in metric units when diving outside the USA, and then imperial units when in the US. It does this well and has been super convenient.
