Product Description

Surface Air Delivery System or Long Hose Diving System allows you to dive without a tank, (leaving your tank at the surface, on the boat, on shore or tow it behind in an inflatable raft)! Diving without a tank gives you a greater degree of freedom and flexibility. The Long Hose Diving system can be used for pool fun to experience weightlessness and enjoy the underwater world, or for hunting, recovery and exploring beneath the surface. The system is a must have for boat owners, so they can conduct inspections below the surface and recovery hung-up anchors.

Simply connect this system to a scuba tank and you ready to dive.

They are no QDs.

If I get this hookah air delivery system does the scuba tank that you can get with it have a service sticker so after it arrives I could just go to a dive shop and get the scuba tank filled.

This depends on your air consumption and depth. The average person at rest should get 60-70 Minutes at the surface and cut that in half for every 33 ft of water. So if you get 70 minutes at the surface then at 33 ft would be 35 and 99 ft would be 17.5 minutes.

If I wanted to go deeper than 25 ft, is there an adapter fitting to hook the two 25 ft lines together instead of buying a separate 50 ft hose.

Thank you for your question! We do have a low-pressure adaptor that will connect your regulator hoses together. You can find it by searching TRI-AA55. This is a low-pressure adaptor that connects 2 regulator hoses together.

Looking through the questions I see that the basic set up is for one person, do you sell the equipment to allow for a 2 person set up? thank you in advance!

Thanks for the question. The Surface Air Delivery System is setup for Two divers. The options automatically default to two Hoses and two second stages.

Does it come with a tow belt to keep regulator from being pulled out of your mouth?

Hi Sheryl, The basic setup pictured is for one person but can be modified for two people. Just remember, the air will deplete twice as fast!

Do I need to be scuba certified?

No, you do not need to be certified to purchase. You will, however, need a certification to get the tank refilled.

Do standard decompression diving rules apply to this device? I am assuming yes, but wanted affirmation.

Yes as always spending anytime at depth you may have decompression obligations.

Can two people use it at the same time? Is there any training involved? How deep can we go?

Two people can use the Surface Air Delivery System at the same time. Training is required when breathing any compressed air so a certification is needed when renting filled tanks or getting tanks filled. As for the depth that depends on the length of the hose being used. In the Surface Air Delivery System package you can choose 25 ft hose or 50 ft.

Is the pressure gauge included tethered so you can read it underwater? Or can you obtain one separately?

The Pressure Gauge included in the Surface Air Delivery System remains at the surface connected to the first stage. There is no pressure gauge that can be attached to read while underwater do to it being connected to a high pressure port on the first stage.

How portable for travel is the set, can it be stowed to carry on a plane?

The Surface Air Delivery System can be very portable the Gangway is inflatable so it can be folded up. As for the regulator, the length of the hose will decide what bag should be used to be stored away.
