Tovatec Mera Dive Light with Camera

Never miss another shot because you left your gear on the boat. Easily take photos and videos underwater with the Tovatec MERA Integrated Camera and Dive Light combo. Small enough to fit in a BCD pocket, take high-definition photos and video without an expensive complex rig. The Tovatec MERA can be used as a primary dive light. Just click a button to begin shooting video or photos. The LCD button display at the top glows blue when the camera is on, flashes red when a photo is taken, and pulses red when video mode is active. Simple 3-button design can switch from light mode to video mode, to camera mode with one hand. This makes it easy to capture spontaneous underwater moments. The camera captures whatever you point your light at.

Easily held and operated with one hand, the Mera Light + Camera from Tovatec combines a 1000-lumen, spot/flood dive light with a camera that captures 1080p video and takes 4MP still photos. Its built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers 90 minutes of video recording with the light on, with higher runtimes at lower power. And unlike a bulky underwater camera housing with light arms, the flashlight-style Mera can slip into a pocket on your BCD when not in use.

The aluminum housing features a knurled handle for a secure grip. Functions are controlled via a three-button interface on the handle, with one button to control the light, one to snap a JPEG photo, and one to start and stop recording video. Images and videos are saved to a Class 10 or higher microSD card up to 64GB. The light shines in the spot (12° beam angle) or flood/video (120°) mode at 500 lumens on low and 1000 lumens on high. The Mera measures 7.6 x 2.5" and weighs 17.7 ounces.

Does the light/camera have the capability to be attached to my wrist during a dive?

Yes included with this item is a wrist lanyard.

Looking at light camera has anyone actually used it on a dive. It shows it is rechargeable didn't see recharger plug or cradle. Thanks Chris Garey

Yes, this is a great light/Camera... Depth rated to 197 ft, 500/1000 Lumen Spot and Floodlight, Records 1080P video and Takes 4MP Still Photos. Is Rechargeable and includes the Charger.

Not Compatible With All Apple Devices

This is not compatible with my iPad , my girlfriends iPad and a friends iPhone . They ( tovatec ) tells us to download certain software but it says it is not compatible with my iPad . Looks like I am going back to GoPro .
