The Pearl BCD is an integrated, women's specific hybrid BCD that combines an wraparound jacket and back inflation. The Pearl is designed to hug the female form and provide a customized fit by means of curved shoulder straps as well as an adjustable waist band and its integrated weights are kept secure with the SureLock II Mechanical Release system.

Design and Streamlining

The Pearl's unique hybrid design brings together an ADV jacket and back inflation to allow the diver to rest comfortably on the surface while helping to lower drag at depth. To cut down on air wasting drag even more, the Pearl makes use of flat valves and features an advanced air cell with low profile lobes. The advanced air cell is also designed to fit more comfortably at the hips because of its shorter torso length. To add even more streamlining as well as gear protection, a pocket that keeps your octopus or instruments from dangling while still leaving it clearly visible is built in.

SureLock II Mechanical Weight Release System (patented)

The Pearl features integrated weights and keeps them locked in with the SureLock II. This system is the epitome of simplicity and its weight pouches just slide and click securely into place. SureLock II also adds an extra layer of safety to your dive by allowing you to quickly ditch your weights in an emergency with a single pull.

Functionality

The Pearl showcases a number of smart features that ultimately contribute to the safety and enjoyment of every dive. It features an adjustable, removable chest strap for comfort, an adjustable waist band for a more custom fit. It also features ample storage with two large utility pockets on either side with two way zippers and extended pulls, easy access knife attachment points that work with many Aqua Lung knives, and four D-rings for easy attachment of accessories. Accessories such as the Airsource, Squeeze-lock knife, reflective kit and retractor kit work with the Pearl and are available separately.
