SEAC Introduces the New Screen Console and Wrist Mount Computer

The new season for SEAC starts with the launch of a new advanced category dive computer that satisfies both the most experienced divers with specific technical needs as well as novices looking for a comprehensive, user-friendly device: the SEAC Screen.

Its name focuses attention on the large dot matrix display that allows you to view all dive profile data on a single screen with clear and distinct characters. The user can adjust the contrast and brightness, as well as the backlight mode (automatic or manual) and duration.

Main Functions

The SEAC Screen features three primary modes:

  • Scuba: The dive profile is managed by the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm. The computer supports 1 or 2 mixes with O2 up to 99%, advising the user of the most suitable time to change mixes while diving.
  • Gauge: Displays depth and stopwatch data; a fully independent dive management system for more experienced divers.
  • Freedive: Breath-hold divers can view surface intervals, dive times, and current/maximum depths reached during the session.

Safety and Customization

In terms of safety, the SEAC Screen computer is your trusted dive companion in and out of the water. Depending on preference, it can be set to perform more conservative calculations. Sound alarms and warning lights alert the user to decompression stop violations, excessive ascent rates, and exceeding the Maximum Operating Depth (MOD) for all gas mixes used.

The device also calculates No-Fly times, desaturation times, and the maximum altitude allowable for repetitive diving. Firmware updates and logbook software for PC/Mac are available at no charge at www.seacsub.com. To download data, simply connect the device using the appropriate USB cable (optional).

Key Features:

  • Scuba, Gauge, and Freedive Modes
  • User Replaceable Battery
  • Deep & Safety Stop functionality
  • 5 Levels of Conservatism
  • No-Fly Countdown
  • Adjustable Screen Contrast and Brightness
  • Manual or Automatic Backlighting
  • Support for two O2 Mixes up to 99%
