Try Dive

For those who’ve wanted to try scuba, the Scuba Discovery Program “Try Dive” is the course for you!

The Try Scuba session gives you a glimpse of what you can expect to experience in the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course. During this experience program you will have the chance to dive in our indoor heated pool under the watchful eye of an active SDI Instructor. Who this course is for: Those who would like an introduction to scuba diving prior to enrolling in the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course.

Course prerequisites:

• Minimum age is 18, or 10 with parental consent.

• Demonstrate adequate swimming skills and in-water comfort 

What you can expect to learn a little about:

• The aquatic environment and underwater swimming skills.

• Basics of Pressure & Buoyancy and how it relates to equalization techniques while diving.

• Features of Scuba equipment and underwater communications.

Some of the in-water skills you can learn to perform include:

• Buoyancy compensator device (BCD) Manual and oral inflation

• Regulator breathing, clearing, and recovery

• Mask clearing
