The equipment offers everything you need to dive in warm or temperate waters.
The set consists of the Patrol BCD, MC9/Compact regulator, Octopus Compact, and the Donatello Console 2.
Cressi Patrol BCD -
The Patrol BC is an impressively lightweight, rear inflation BC that is anatomically designed for maximum comfort and durability. The special air cell compression strap guarantees extra quick deflation and volume control. The ultralight rigid back plate with its integrated carrying handle ensures optimal stability. The Patrol also features Cressi's Flat-Lock-Aid integrated weight system that makes it easy to release the pockets. There are 3 over-pressure relief valves/dump valves: one on the upper part of the inflator hose, one valve on the right-hand side of the shoulder, and a third on the lower right-hand side of the air cell. The inflator dump/valve is cable-activated by pulling on the power inflator mechanism, and the shoulder and lower valves have a pull cord.
Features include Flat-Lock-Aid Integrated Weight Pockets with 20 lbs (9kg) weight releasable capacity, optional tank band Trim Weight Pockets (see SKU: CSBTWP), a light, ridged back plate with soft padded back, and 1-roll-up cargo pocket. The Patrol also features plastic D-rings to help reduce weight, and the shoulder and waist harnesses are fully adjustable to one full size up or down from the stated size. Rear inflation design with a durable 420-Denier nylon air cell with bungee cords to provide a low profile and rapid deflation of the air cell. The BCD harness system uses traditional "squeeze-style" side-release buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest, and waist for precise adjustment and fit. BCD comes equipped with Cressi's streamline Commando Power Inflator with 3/8" threaded quick-disconnect hose. The inflator mechanism is environmentally sealed for greater reliability and less maintenance.
Cressi Compact MC9 Regulator -
The MC9 regulator boasts a high-performance, hyper-balanced diaphragm 1st stage with anti-wear and anti-corrosion materials, ensuring durability and long-lasting use. It includes four low-pressure and two high-pressure ports, along with a unique assist chamber for optimal performance in any condition. The balanced diaphragm design is environmentally sealed to guard against corrosion and mineral buildup.
Constructed from robust, non-corrosive hi-tech polymers, the Compact Second-Stage housing features a reliable downstream demand valve mechanism. Airflow is directed to the mouthpiece via injection, creating a venturi effect that boosts performance. The 2nd stage also has a flow deviator to modify the Venturi effect and a dive/pre-dive adjustment feature. Easy clearing is facilitated by a large soft purge cover, while a comfortable silicone mouthpiece ensures a pleasant experience.
Weighing just 30.97 oz (878g) with the hose, the Compact MC9 Regulator is a lightweight option. It meets EN250/2000 standards and comes with an owner's manual, being manufactured in Italy.
Cressi XS Compact Octopus -
The XS Compact Second-Stage housing is made of durable non-corrosive hi-tech polymers and has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism with a lever that has a low coefficient of friction. The flow of air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, creating a venturi effect, enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Large soft purge cover allows easy clearing of the 2nd stage and a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The XS Compact Regulator weighs 4.76 oz (135g) without the hose, comes with a long 39" (100cm) 3/8" hose, and an owner's manual. Octopus complies with the EN 250:2014 standard.
Cressi Donatello 2-Gauge Console -
Cressi's Donatello is an underwater and freediving computer. It is ideal for other water activities, thanks to the deactivation option of the "dive" functions, which avoids unnecessary alarms while snorkeling or swimming. Donatello has a high contrast display for excellent viewing even in bright sunlight. The heavy-duty case with a steel button is fitted with a bezel which, like the case, is plastic made. The computer has an underwater resistance of up to 393' (120m).
High contrast display with extra-large numbers and an easy-access menu. 12/24 clock time format with calendar and high-power backlit display for low light and night dive conditions. The computer also provides surf time, desaturation, and no fly time calculator, and lets you know when the battery needs replacing with a low battery icon. The algorithm is the Cressi-Wienke RGBM for complete diving data processing. When in the Scuba mode, Donatello can be set for air or nitrox with a PPO2 1.7 psi-23.2 psi (1.2 bar-1.6 bar) configuration. A computer allows mixes of 21% to 50% oxygen. Graphic indicator of CNS toxicity level of oxygen, safety stop indicator, multiple-level safety factor configuration, altitude configuration to 12,140' (3,700m), and an algorithm for managing uncontrolled ascents are other features of this versatile diving instrument. Suitable for repeated, multiday decompression. Visualization of time while diving, add/remove deep stop, alarm in case of breach of ascent speed, decompression or PPO2, ability to disable the ascent alarms, planning scroll function of no-decompression limits, maximum dive depth alarm, and ability to perform a total reset, which is useful for rental purposes.
When used in the freediving (apnea) program computer displays all diving parameters of depth, temperature, dive calculator, maximum dive depth alarm, dive time, length of surface interval between each dive, length of diving session, depth, dive time and surface interval alarms, recovery time alarm, and visualization of time at dive phase.
When in the Gauge program (without a decompression calculator) the Donatello provides a depth/temperature indicator, average depth, dive time in minutes and seconds, has a resettable depth stopwatch, and a visualization of time at the dive phase. All information in all modes is logged with a memory of up to 60 dives per category. The computer has a replaceable protective display screen and a user-replaceable CR2450 battery. Optional Interface of diving profile is available. Comes with an owner's manual.
Console version comes in a two-and three-gauge model. The Cressi Mini Pressure Gauge has a luminescent dial that reads from 0 to 5000 psi (0 to 350 bars). Gauges are ready to travel the world with you. A true world travel instrument, a high-quality instrument built with a chrome-plated brass case. Gauge face is divided into different colored zones for at-a-glance monitoring of air the area from 0 to 600 psi (0 to 50 bars) and is highlighted in red with a solid bar and red stripes. Large circular easy-to-read scale. The pressure gauge comes with a 7/16" high-pressure hose. The instruments are housed in a small, modern-shaped console boot, made from Polycarbonate and Desmopan (a thermoplastic polyurethane), two materials that guarantee protection from shocks and scratches, and which, at the same time, are very light. The entire 2-gauge console boot comes with multiple attachment points for clips or lanyards.
