The Dry snorkel has a unique splash guard at the end which greatly reduces the entrance of water during use on the surface.
The end part has a corrugated piece that is smooth on the inner side and keeps the snorkel away from the mouth during use when scuba diving.
A special water collection well, with a large elliptic valve, allows quick and easy expulsion of water.

Thank you for your question and inquiry into this product. The quick-release snorkel keeper clip on the Cressi Supernova Dry Snorkel is designed to accommodate standard scuba and snorkeling mask straps up to a maximum width of 1.5 inches (approx. 38 mm).
Fit and Compatibility Breakdown
Standard Silicone Straps: The clip effortlessly slides over and snaps onto all standard split-style or single-panel silicone mask straps (which typically measure between 0.75 inches and 1.25 inches at their widest point behind the head).
Neoprene Comfort Straps: If you use a slap-on neoprene strap cover or a solid fabric neoprene replacement strap, the clip will fit comfortably as long as the total flattened width doesn't exceed 1.5 inches.
?? Gear Tip: If your mask uses an exceptionally wide, thick, or deeply padded aftermarket neoprene strap that forces the plastic clip to stretch or bend outwards, it's best not to force it. Over-flexing the rigid plastic quick-release keeper can cause it to snap under tension when you dive into the water. If your strap is too wide, you can swap the plastic clip for a universal silicone "figure-8" snorkel keeper instead.

This is a very good snorkel. I was a little concerned because it was so cheap but I've never had a issue with it. It preforms above all else!
