The Legend regulators are overbalanced diaphragm regulators that provide excellent breathing performance and feature the revolutionary Master Breathing System (MBS) for simple breathing comfort control.
The unique Auto-Closure Device (ACD) designed by Aqualung keeps corrosive water out of the first stage inlet, thus preventing internal lubrication from washing away. It also ensures that water or silt will not enter the first stage. The Leg3nd MBS is the premier regulator in this line, offering high-performance features and ease of breathing for an exceptional diving experience. This regulator is compatible with up to 40% O2 right out of the box, making it safer for elevated percentages of oxygen.
Aqualung's commitment to exceptional cold-water performance is evident in the Leg3nd's three anti-freeze properties. The integrated dry chamber keeps inner components clean and dry, deep ribs create a large heat exchange surface area that helps prevent ice formation, and the over-molded cap delays ice formation over the external diaphragm. The ergonomically shaped yoke screw with a bi-material soft grip surface provides a better hold when installing or removing the first stage, even with cold hands.
The pneumatically balanced second stage provides smooth and easy breathing, and the patented Comfo-Bite mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with an enlarged heat exchanger, ergonomic exhaust tee, and air chamber deflector for even airflow and reduced exhalation effort. The regulator also features a detachable and reusable mouthpiece clamp for a quick and simple tool-free mouthpiece change without plastic waste.
