Painted Silver
Triple-protected the finish for long-lasting durability. The process includes a zinc galvanization spray followed by epoxy paint and then a polyurethane topcoat.

HYDRO DATES ON NEW FABER STEEL CYLINDERSOXYGEN USE WITH FABER STEEL CYLINDERS

We ship cylinders with the “freshest” possible hydro date. We are limited in some models because of high manufacturing quantities and relatively low sales volume. Please understand, that steel cylinders shipped to your location within 18 months from the date of manufacture are considered “current hydro” and not subject to further discounts.

Faber steel cylinders are cleaned at the factory for oxygen-enriched service up to 40% pre-blended nitrox. If you intend to use this cylinder for oxygen-enriched service, it is the responsibility of the cylinder user to ensure that the cylinder and all components are maintained in a proper state of oxygen cleanliness in strict accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

how long can you stay underwater with a full 149cu?

There are to many factors to give you an exact time. But it is the largest scuba tank so if you are needing more bottom time you can not get an bigger.

Is it possible to get a left and right DIN valve if I purchase 2 cylinders? If possible how do I proceed with that?

Will this tank fill my PCP airgun to 3000 psi? Do you know how many times? How long does this tank take to ship? Could it be here by Christmas? Thanks for your assistance!

With the correct adapters, it would be possible to get a certain amount of fills to 3000 PSI. Each fill would drop in pressure depending on the Cubic foot of your PCP air gun.

Are the tanks shipped empty or full ? Will local dive shops require a visual if shipped empty ?

Thank you for your questions! All of our tanks are shipped empty. However, they are given a visual inspection before we ship them out. Local dive shops shouldn't require an additional inspection as we mark the tanks with a visual inspection and O2 clean sticker. The tank arrives to you ready to go! I hope this helps! Does this tank come with the visual inspection sticker already on it?

Yes the valve in the Faber FX High Pressure Steel Tank has a plug that can be removed to use a DIN regulator or left in to use a yoke regulator.
