Hyperflex “PLAYA” The Playa HZ (HARNESS ZIP) is a 2mm Neoprene jacket. As the name “Playa” (Beach) suggests, these are meant for after/before water use. The Playa HZ features a new mini front zipper that can be used with your spreader bar hook. Now you can wear the Playa over your harness while teaching kiteboarding/windsurfing or even while riding for extra warmth.
It is cut exactly like a “hoodie” sweatshirt. Oversized and warm, it features a hollow fiber lining and skin exterior. It holds virtually no water at all, so it is windproof and waterproof against the elements. Surf, kite, windsurfing kayak, fishing, dive boats, swim teams, etc. These are designed to fit over wetsuits or they can be worn alone. They will work for virtually any application for almost any watersport or water activity. These are perfect for before/after sessions, during contests or events, driving, etc.

I specifically searched the internet and Divers Supply for various versions of the Hyperflex Playa Jacket. It was available in various color combinations on the internet and Divers Supply, as shown in their images...and even the image included on this review is neither what was ordered...or what was delivered. The 3 versions I've seen on Divers Supply website show a Black Jacket with orange/red liner and white Hyperflex Logo on front left chest and sleeve.. a Black Jacket with Blue Logo which is what was specifically selected at time of purchase (as product photo is labeled here by Divers Supply) which also has a black liner, and there is apparently a third variety of the Black Jacket with orange/red liner and blacked out logos on jacket (which is what was delivered). All-in-all the jacket quality is excellent... just not the colors I had ordered. My gut tells me this is what is to be expected from companies like this... not the end of the world, but I would highly encourage anyone who wants something SPECIFIC or EXACT... to call and verify over the phone. This is the second time I've had the wrong product delivered by a divers supply company because their websites just are updated as frequently as the products changes, etc. Would I buy again...yes...would I call first to personally verify... without a doubt.
