Great Suit New Diver
I’m a new diver and was looking for a nice suit to try that wasn’t going to break my budget. THIS IS THE SUIT!
When I saw the price I thought it was going to be more of a thinner Rashguard or 2nd skin, but it’s a nice neoprene. At 3mm/2mm it should be perfect for moderate ocean temps.
It goes on easy and the fit is great. I’m 5’5 160 and got the Med. Everything fits snug dry so I know once it gets wet it will fit perfect. (You want a dry fit to be slightly snug so it can loosen in water, too loose and it will lose its warming ability)
Inside key pocket, string stitching, comfortable neck flap.
Another item from Divers Supply that doesn’t disappoint. Grab it while supplies & price are available. I used a coupon from a prior review which made this purchase even sweeter. Thank you |

I have not received this item in the mail yet but I already own the 3mm version of it so I’m sure I’ll be satisfied. What I would like to say here though is a testament to the customer service of Divers Supply. I am not one to ever sit down and take the time to post a review for anything but in this situation I’ll make an exception. I ordered a kit that included a 1 piece back zip 7mm wetsuit, boots, hood , gloves and a heavy duty hanger. I paid around $236 for this shipped and at that price I felt I got a great deal. I really only needed the wetsuit itself and maybe the gloves but I still thought it was a more than fair price. Anyways, when I tried the suit on I found that it was short in the wrist and ankle area and decided that it’s probably not the suit being made wrong , that it is likely me being a un proportioned behemoth. So I emailed Divers Supply and asked about the return policy, the promptly emailed me back with a link to print a return form and how to go about it. I had decided that I wanted to keep the hood, boots and gloves and only return the wetsuit itself and that I’d like to exchange it for a farmer John style instead. I expected that I’d have to pay some sort of a difference as the farmer John set was $136. So I paid $24 shipping and mailed it back and a few days later out of the blue I get an email saying that Divers Supply has issued me a $70 refund. At that point I was a little bummed and figured that was the end of the story and that maybe next spring I’d just order that farmer John wetsuit I wanted. Then last night I got an order saying they shipped the farmer John wetsuit! No extra charge no extra hassle, just prompt service and an obvious desire to keep a customer happy. This to me is HUGE! People don’t do this anymore and business do not usually take the “customer service” title very seriously.
With that all said I would highly recommend Divers Supply not only for their awesome unbeatable prices but a customer service team that is the best I’ve seen in years in ANY industry. |
