For divers who view diving as more than just a sport but a state of mind, Aqualung's third-generation Legend regulator line is a perfect choice. With over 70 years of experience, Aqualung has created a range of regulators designed for divers of all levels and for a range of diving conditions. The Legend regulators are overbalanced diaphragm regulators that provide excellent breathing performance and feature the revolutionary Master Breathing System (MBS) for simple breathing comfort control.

The unique Auto-Closure Device (ACD) designed by Aqualung keeps corrosive water out of the first stage inlet, thus preventing internal lubrication from washing away. It also ensures that water or silt will not enter the first stage. The Leg3nd MBS is the premier regulator in this line, offering high-performance features and ease of breathing for an exceptional diving experience. This regulator is compatible with up to 40% O2 right out of the box, making it safer for elevated percentages of oxygen.

Aqualung's commitment to exceptional cold-water performance is evident in the Leg3nd's three anti-freeze properties. The integrated dry chamber keeps inner components clean and dry, deep ribs create a large heat exchange surface area that helps prevent ice formation, and the over-molded cap delays ice forming over the external diaphragm. The ergonomically shaped yoke screw with a bi-material soft grip surface provides a better hold when installing or removing the first stage, even with cold hands.

The pneumatically balanced second stage provides smooth and easy breathing, and the patented Comfo-Bite mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw fatigue. The regulator comes with an enlarged heat exchanger, ergonomic exhaust tee, and air chamber deflector for even airflow and reduced exhalation effort. The regulator also features a detachable and reusable mouthpiece clamp for a quick and simple tool-free mouthpiece change without plastic waste.

  • Over-Balanced Diaphragm System: Automatically increases working pressure faster than surrounding ambient pressure at depth. This compensates for denser air, delivering maximum, effortless airflow regardless of depth or remaining cylinder pressure.

  • Master Breathing System (MBS): Features a revolutionary, single-knob adjustment on the second stage that controls both the Venturi effect and inhalation effort simultaneously. A single turn allows you to fine-tune your breathing preference on the fly.
