Personal Gear (Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties), Travel to Springs, Lodging, and Meals.
The course consists of approximately 8 hours of online training, 6-8 hours of pool training (Confined Water), and about 3-4 hours for the checkout dives.
Confined Water (pool) classes are held on specific dates. However, private classes can be arranged by contacting our Jacksonville location.
We provide all the heavy life-support gear (BCD, Regs, Computer, etc.). Students are responsible for their "Personal Gear," which includes a Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Booties.

Part One: E-Learning
During this step, SDI's award winning E-learning will guide toward mastering the fundamentals of scuba diving. The best part? It's all done at home and at your own pace.
Part Two: Pool Training
After completion of home study, get your fins wet by learning to use the equipment hands-on and practicing the skills required for safe diving while experiencing the fun and excitement of the underwater world.
Part Three: Certification Dive Trip
Use the skills you practiced in the pool to complete your certification on 4 fun dives in the Florida Springs (over 2 days) and earn your lifetime certification as an "SDI Open Water Diver"

I had a fun diving time learning at the pool with justin and he made it easy for us to understand. I also had a fabulous time diving the blue grotto and the kp hole with George and Brittany both are highly skilled and professional and fun to dive with. I highly recommend this diving center and I'm coming soon for my advanced adventure certificate. Thank you all for the great service
