In just 3 easy steps you can be a certified diver!
Step 1: Academics
During this step, SDI's award winning E-learning will guide you towards mastering the fundamentals of scuba diving. The best part? It's all done at home and at your own pace.
Step 2: Academic Review and Pool Sessions
After completion of home study, you will get your fins wet in our indoor heated pool! You will learn to use the SCUBA equipment and practice the skills required for safe diving while experiencing the fun and excitement of the underwater world.
Step 3: Certification Dive Trip
Use the skills you practiced in the pool to complete your certification on 4 fun dives in the Florida Springs (over 2 days) and earn your lifetime certification as an "SDI Open Water Diver".

Start Learning to Dive Today SDI makes it possible for you to complete all of the academic requirements for your entry-level diver certification on line. You can get started right now and, when you are done, complete your in-water skill-development sessions and final open-water training dives at a local dive site, or at a popular vacation destination.
Getting your entry-level diver certification is a three-step process:
The first step is to acquire all of the important academic information every certified diver must know. Traditionally, this required attending several hours of formal classroom training. Now, through on-line training, you can complete this phase through self-study, at your own pace, in the convenience of your home or office.
The next step is to complete your in-water skill-development training. This takes place in a swimming pool or similar body of confined water. Here you will learn the fundamental skills that every diver needs to know. (It’s also a lot of fun.)
The final step is complete four or more open-water training dives under the supervision of your SDI Instructor at the Florida Springs. Here you will apply what you have learned during your academic and skill-development sessions, while learning practical lessons that can only be gained through real-world experience in open water.

Get Scuba Certified with Divers Supply Marietta in 3 Easy Steps!
Part 1: Academic development with the SDI Home Student E-Learning Education System.
Develop the academic knowledge and preview the in water skills you'll need to be a safe and comfortable diver.
E-learning takes approximately 12-16 hours of study, completed when convenient for you and at your own pace.
E-learning must be completed before scheduling Part 2 pool trainnig.
E-learning program included in the cost of training.
Part 2: Confined Water (Pool) Skill Development.
Develop and master the diving skills to safely and comfortably explore the underwater world on Scuba.
Pool training takes place year round in our onsite indoor heated pool.
Group scheduled courses offered regularly and Private courses, at additional fee, offered for those needing a custom or accelerated schedule.
Participants must provide their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Dive Boots to participate in pool training. Personal snorkeling equipment costs not included in course fee.
Participants must be able to complete a swim evaluation at the start of pool training.

10 minute survival float or water tread.
Part 3: Open Water Certification Dives
Over 2 days you will conduct 4 real open water dives to earn your Open Water Scuba Diver Certification
On each of the 4 required dives you will demonstrate your mastery of the same skills you learned and developed during your pool based training.
Certification dives can be completed with Divers Supply Instructors on our scheduled certification trips or via Referral certification you can complete during your own planned vacation adventure.
Scuba equipment (BCD, Regulators, Tanks, Weights, Computers, Exposure Suits, Etc.) rental for certification dives IS NOT included in course fees.
Rental fees are dependant on items rented and duration of rental.
