Get Scuba Certified with Divers Supply Marietta in 3 Easy Steps!

Part 1: Academic development with the SDI Home Student E-Learning Education System.

• Develop the academic knowledge and preview the in water skills you'll need to be a safe and comfortable diver.
• E-learning takes approximately 12-16 hours of study, completed when convenient for you and at your own pace.
• E-learning must be completed before scheduling Part 2 pool trainnig. 
• E-learning program included in the cost of training. 

Part 2: Confined Water (Pool) Skill Development.

• Develop and master the diving skills to safely and comfortably explore the underwater world on Scuba.
• Pool training takes place year round in our onsite indoor heated pool.
• Group scheduled courses offered regularly and Private courses, at additional fee, offered for those needing a custom or accelerated schedule. 
  • Group Scheduled Courses Offered
    • 1 Week - Four Consecutive Weeknights. (See Marietta Traninng Calendar for Dates/Days/Times)
    • 2 Week - Two Weeknights per week, Two consecutive weeks. (See Marietta Traninng Calendar for Dates/Days/Times)
    • Weekend - 1 Weekend. Saturday and Sunday 8 AM- 5 PM Both Days. (See Marietta Traninng Calendar for Dates/Days/Times)

• Participants must provide their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins, and Dive Boots to participate in pool training. Personal snorkeling equipment costs not included in course fee.
• Participants must be able to complete a swim evaluation at the start of pool training.
  • 300 meter mask, snorkel, and fins swim.
  • 10 minute survival float or water tread. 
  • Participants not able to meet the swim standards at the start of training will need to improve their swimming performance before starting Scuba traiining and will be charged a $75.00 rescheduling or cancellation fee. 

Part 3: Open Water Certification Dives

• Over 2 days you will conduct 4 real open water dives to earn your Open Water Scuba Diver Certification
• On each of the 4 required dives you will demonstrate your mastery of the same skills you learned and developed during your pool based training. 
• Certification dives can be completed with Divers Supply Instructors on our scheduled certification trips or via Referral certification which you can complete during your own planned vacation adventure. 
  
  • Scuba equipment (BCD, Regulators, Tanks, Weights, Computers, Exposure Suits, Etc.) rental for certification dives IS NOT included in course fees.
    • Rental fees are dependant on items rented and duration of rental.
    • Open Water Students receive a 35% discount off Marietta standard rental rates for Open Water Certification dives.
