I have the XS Scuba Highland SS Pony Mount for my 13cf pony bottle and it's a well built mount, but my bottle is still a little wobbly and it's very aggravating to slip you main tank band around the bracket. I bought this mount for my 19cf and very secure and easy to take on and off. Way easier and more secure than the other mount

Great snug fit with nit movement. Mount right or left side of the main tank with ease.
Only cons are that the hose clamps barely fit my xs scuba 30cf but fits perfect without a tail, so that known I doubt it will fit a 40cf.
If you have a smaller tank then the hose clamp tails will be a hazard and needs to be secured or covered to protect the sharp end.

My daughter and myself used this bracket on the eastern shores off NC USA. Seas where a little rough with 6-8ft and intervals of 2-3 seconds. Spare bottle was well balanced and caused no problems. Although the dive was not the ideal conditions.

This is very simple and well built. I usually sling my 19cf pony but this makes it super easy to back mount to keep hands and front open near reefs.

I probably would rate it higher but the bottom band is exactly where my bottom strap on my Zeagle BC is. Wish it was adjustable in that part. Seems well built. Easy on easy off.
