Water Safety Fit Tip: Unlike infant and toddler vests, youth-sized vests (50–90 lbs) do not include a crotch strap, making a proper snug fit across the torso absolutely critical. To test the fit, fasten the front zipper and pull the two waist belts tight. Lift up firmly on the vest’s shoulder panels—the vest should stay securely in place and not slide up past the wearer's chin or nose. If it slips up, tighten the straps further.
